Our Factory

In 2005, JSC Lomisi attracted unprecedented investments of TBC bank and EBRD and a new brewery in Natakhtari was built. A factory is equipped with state-of-art technologies.

EFES Breweries International (EBI) got interested by brewery activities in 2008; it acquired 100% of the company.

EBI is one of the largest beer producers in the world. Management pays lot of attention to the implementation of international standards and quality management. Investments are made for production lines and acquisition of the latest laboratory equipment.

Quality Control

Our quality, as well as process control models, have been developed by +50 yearsโ€™ experience in brewing industry. For sure international brewing standards which are developed by global institutes (like VLB Berlin, EBC, MEBAK) constitute the base of these management models.

Natakhtari Water Is Our Biggest Asset

Natakhtari water is natural spring water coming from the majestic mountains in the region. The legendary pure water with its balanced mineral content gives the unique taste to our products.

Modern Technology

After taking over the Natakhtari Brewery in 2008 by EFES, $60M have been invested for the modernization of brewing as well as packaging equipments. Our technology is in-line with state of the art requirements and standards.

Freshness

Beer is a natural product and it should be consumed freshly since its taste is affected negatively by external factors such as sun-light, heat and oxygen. We keep optimum stock level in value chain to minimize the product age in the market โ€“ our target is to have the products in the market in a range of 35 to 45 days.

EFES Georgia exploited the wastewater biological treatment plant.

The company got certified for Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP).

The company got certified for food safety management system (ISO 22000:2005) implementation

EFES Georgia has been successfully certified to Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Systems (OHSAS 18001:2007)

2014

EFES Georgia received ISO 50001 - certificate of Energy Management System.

The company laboratory got certified by ISO/IEC 17025.

The company got certified for Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001)
